Who we are
KW Programmes was founded on a simple but powerful belief: that high-quality education is the foundation of high-quality care.
OUR STORY
As experienced NHS leaders, we recognised a gap, frontline health and social care staff were being asked to deliver increasingly complex care, but without the tailored, practical, and inclusive education needed to succeed.
Traditional training often failed to reflect the realities of care home environments, cultural sensitivities, or the systemic barriers facing staff and residents alike.
That’s why we created KW Programmes, the specialist education consultancy division of Kopan Weald Healthcare Services, to transform how education is delivered in healthcare settings.
Our mission is to provide care homes and providers with interactive, evidence-based training programmes that build staff confidence, reduce health inequalities, and create lasting, measurable improvements in care.
By embedding learning through our Champions model, and designing programmes that speak directly to the needs of diverse communities, we are redefining what effective healthcare education looks like, and raising the standard of care in the process.

Why Choose KW Programmes?
High quality healthcare.
We go beyond training. We build capability, shift culture, and raise standards of care.Care homes today face real challenges: staff shortages, regulatory pressure, and health inequalities. Our training responds to those needs with practical, inclusive solutions designed to stick — helping your team deliver safer, person-centred care every day.
Our Vision
To transform the culture of health and social care through high-impact education that empowers staff, reduces health inequalities, and creates lasting, measurable improvements in care.

Our Values
Equity at the Core
We believe every member of the workforce deserves education that is inclusive, culturally sensitive, and designed to tackle systemic health disparities. Equity isn’t an add-on, it’s our starting point.
Excellence without Compromise
Our training is grounded in evidence, delivered by experts, and built to meet the highest clinical and regulatory standards. We’re committed to helping providers meet and exceed CQC expectations.
Empowerment through Education
We train with purpose: to build confidence, shift mindsets, and unlock the leadership potential within every staff member. When people are empowered, care improves.
Sustainability that Lasts
One-off training isn’t enough. Through our Champions model, we embed capability within care settings to ensure improvements continue long after the session ends.
Practical, Person-Centred Delivery
We design education that reflects real-world pressures, not textbook scenarios. Our programmes are interactive, relational, and always relevant to the lived experience of care providers.
